EFFATA was set in motion in twenty-twenty as a vessel for musical and spiritual explorations. The Swedish-German duo oscillates between the hypnotic and the contemplative. Fully engulfed in the raw energy of their Post-Punk roots, the songs of EFFATA strive to approach the unapproachable. Amidst synthetic textures and echoing drums, the two musicians let emerge their own vision of folk music gloom, between melancholic mysticism and a ferociously intense confrontation with the numinos.
